Welcome to our blog!
My name is Elise and my husband is Nick, and we are just two Christian people who choose to adopt internationally. In August we will be celebrating our five year wedding anniversary. Oh, how the time flies! For the most part, we have spent all of our lives in Louisiana until we landed in Baltimore, MD about a year and a half ago. Nick is currently going to graduate school at the University of Baltimore while also working at the University library, and I am working a full-time job also. We’re also the proud owner of a ragdoll cat, Audrey Hepburn, who lives up to her namesake, prancing around our home as if she were a beauty queen. In June 2013 we felt the strong need to start the adoption process, so we decided to not wait any longer (since it can take a long time on its own). SO, here we are now.
I created this blog because I really want to share this experience as well as get it documented, so I can remember all of the precious moments during this process.
