We always knew that our adoption was going to be international, and initially we wanted to choose an Asian country, but where to start? After doing further research we realized that our choices were quite smaller than anticipated. Due to us being a younger married couple the adoption agency suggested Ethiopia and Bulgaria as a better fit for us. Initially we choose Bulgaria, then hopped on over to the Republic of Georgia for a hot second, and we have finally landed in Hungary.
Why Hungary specifically?
On January 7, 2014 our case worker posted about a baby girl who is in Hungary, and our hearts were pricked instantly. After a lot of prayer and making sure that we fit the qualifications, we decided that we wanted to jump over to Hungary and pursue baby Arabella. :)
